Decentralized Media

Hey everyone! It's Jacques and I have been working in the crypto space since 2013 studying, designing, and building decentralized organisation. My first project was BitAd, a crowd sourced advertising service for Bitcoin startups back in 2013. I now do consultancy work for the Steem blockchain, specifically for the upcoming SMT implementation that would allow anyone to launch their own media tokens and use the same structure as Steemit.com to provide economic incentives for generating content for their chosen topic.

This event is geared towards content producer who would like an alternative way to monetize their content quickly and independent of advertisers. In this presentation I'll quickly go over the first two presentations for those of you who missed it and then focus on the following topics:

-Decentralized economy
Currency

-Decentralized decision making
Who gets to make what decisions?

-Growth of a decentralized system.
Resource allocation decisions made by those who are closer to information.
