Transactions are the most important part of the bitcoin system. Everything else in bitcoin is designed to ensure that transactions can be created, propagated on the network, validated, and finally added to the global ledger of transactions (the blockchain).

In this presentation, Stéphane Roche will explain how transactions are structured, the different types of transactions and how Bitcoin Script language is employed to create and validate them. We will finally see how Bitcoin wallets use multiple abstractions that are not directly part of a transaction.

A little bit of knowledge about bitcoin is welcomed to fully understand this presentation.
