While the first days of bitcoin dreamed of bringing a new order, reinforced by later projects with slogans such as "Code is Law", the last months have proven that regulators could step into the crytocurrencies and blockchain space, for better and worse.
With the publication of "Smart Contracts: Cases studies and legal analysis" and the publication of Legalico, a report on the ICOs regulation, Xavier Lavayssière propose to give an overview of the link between blockhains and law:

• What are Smart contracts from a legal point of view?
• How blockchain startups fit into the anti-money laundering and payment regulations?
• What is the current state of the ICO regulation?

Targeted to an audience of Lawyers, developers and entrepreneurs, this meetup will aim to reduce the gap between the technology and regulations.
