The world's first truly decentralized citizen's court is now a reality.

Kleros is a decentralized application built on top of Ethereum that works as a decentralized third party to arbitrate disputes in every kind of contract, from very simple to highly complex ones. It relies on game theoretic incentives to have jurors rule cases correctly. The objective is to create a dispute resolution system that renders ultimate judgments in a fast, inexpensive, reliable and decentralized way.

AGENDA:

  • Introduction to smart contract based dispute resolution and use cases.

  • Presentation of Kleros and its economic incentives.

  • Hands-on session: participants will create and arbitrate a Kleros dispute (PNK and ETH will be distributed for this purpose) with the new Kleros Court & Ethfinex Token Curated List.

PLEASE, BRING YOUR LAPTOP!

This Meetup will be presented by Clément Lesaege CTO of Kleros.

Clément holds a Computer Science Engineering degree from UTC (France) and Computer Science MS from Georgia Tech (United States). He started playing with blockchain technology in 2013. He has worked as smart contract security auditor focused on vulnerability detection. His research focuses on Random Numbers Generation (RNG) and game theory applied to dispute resolution.
