Free festival

Not much comes for free these days so why not make the most of this free festival just outside the city centre!

Buzzing with over 200 activities to celebrate our most precious commodity - our time!

I've emailed the powers that be asking for nice weather so if you're coming, bring sun cream just in case.

Dozens of partners will be there from BBC, Lowry, English National Opera and many grassroots organisations.

Live music, theatre, DJ sets, art workshops, street food, boat trips and much much more.
