About:
Matheran is a peaceful hill station nestled in the Western Ghats, known for its red mud paths, lush green forests, and car-free charm. During the monsoon, it transforms into a misty paradise with waterfalls, cool breezes, and endless greenery. The rain adds a magical touch to the trails, making every walk feel refreshing and scenic. It’s the perfect escape for those looking to slow down, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy nature at its best.

Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Friday
10:30 PM – Board the Mumbai Express from Hyderabad (3AC).

Day 2: Saturday
12:00 PM – Arrive at Kalyan and take a local train to Neral.
01:00 PM – Reach Neral and travel to Aman Lodge Station by hired vehicle.
02:00 PM – Begin hike along the railway track to Matheran.
03:30 PM – Trek to Charlotte Lake, Echo Point, and Louisa Point.
06:00 PM – Explore the local market and shop around.
08:00 PM – Return to the hotel and have dinner.

Day 3: Sunday
05:30 AM – Wake-up call for early morning exploration.
06:00 AM – Visit any missed viewpoints from the previous day.
08:00 AM – Have breakfast and explore more view spots.
10:00 AM – Check out and head back to Neral, then to Kalyan.
02:20 PM – Catch the return train to Hyderabad.

Day 4: Monday
05:30 AM – Arrive in Hyderabad with fresh mountain memories.

Please make the full payment of ₹5,800/- to confirm your slot. Alternatively, you may secure your spot with a non-refundable advance payment of ₹2,800/-. However, full payment is preferred to ensure a smooth booking process. Please note that the spots are limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis only after payment is received. RSVPing on Meetup without payment does not guarantee your spot.

If only the advance is paid, the remaining balance of ₹3,000/- must be paid at least 7 days before the event to retain your spot.

Refund Policy:

• A refund, excluding ticket cancellation charges, will be provided only if ClimbOn cancels the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
• The advance amount (₹2,800/-) is non-refundable.
• If the booking is canceled more than 7 days before the event and the full amount has been paid, the amount excluding the advance (₹3,000/-) will be refunded. No refund will be provided after that.
• No refund will be given in case of a no-show.

✔️ A rucksack (30–50L) with rain cover. No trolley/briefcase.
✔️ Trek shoes with extra pairs of socks
✔️ 2 pairs of clothes (full sleeves preferred; no jeans)
✔️ 2 liters of water
✔️ Rainwear (raincoat/umbrella/all-weather jacket)
✔️ Head torch with extra batteries
✔️ Toiletries: tissue paper, brush, toothpaste, sanitizer, towel
✔️ Personal medication, if any
✔️ A trash cover to carry your trash

✔️ Some snacks to eat along the hike
✔️ Flip-flops to change into at night
✔️ Power bank and charging cable
✔️ Mosquito repellent cream

Note: Pack everything separately in plastic bags before placing them in the rucksack, as they may get wet during the rains.

• All members should exercise social responsibility during treks and refrain from littering, shouting in wilderness areas, or engaging in any activity that could disrupt the natural ecology.
• All meals during the event will be vegetarian.
• This is not a luxury trip, but every effort will be made to ensure your comfort.
• Event Hosts reserve the right to adjust the itinerary, including addition or exclusion of members, route changes, activity adjustments, or timing modifications depending on weather and other conditions.
• The Event Host’s decision is final in all matters. Your safety is our priority, and your cooperation is appreciated.
