📌 About: Kalsubai Peak is the highest mountain in Maharashtra, standing at 1,646 meters (5,400 feet) above sea level. Located in the Western Ghats within the Ahmednagar district, it's a popular trekking destination known for its scenic views and cool climate. The trek is moderately challenging and well-marked, with iron ladders and railings at steep points. At the top, there's a small temple dedicated to Kalsubai Devi, which attracts many pilgrims. The peak offers stunning panoramic views of surrounding forts, valleys, and hills, making it a favorite spot for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts.

📍 Day 1: Friday

• 6:40 PM – Board AJANTA Express (17064) from Kacheguda Station, Hyderabad
  (Overnight train journey to Manmad)
  📍 Day 2: Saturday
• 8:45 AM – Arrive at Manmad Junction
• Freshen up at the station
• 9:30 AM – Depart in a hired private vehicle towards Bari Base Village (Kalsubai)
  (Breakfast en route)
• 1:00 PM – Arrive at Bari village
• Check-in and lunch at the homestay
• 2:30 PM – Visit Umbrella Falls or Randha Waterfall near Bhandardara Dam (only if weather permitting)
• 7:00 PM – Return to Bari
• 📍 Day 3: Sunday
• 3:30 AM – Wake-up call and gear up for the trek
• 4:15 AM – Begin Kalsubai trek
• 7:30 AM – Reach the summit
• Explore and enjoy the view from Maharashtra’s highest peak (5,400 ft)
• 8:30 AM – Breakfast at the summit
• 12:30 PM – Descend and reach base village
• Lunch
• 1:30 PM – Depart for Manmad Railway Station
• 6:00 PM – Reach station
• 8:00 PM – Board train back to Hyderabad

• 9:30 AM – Arrive at Hyderabad

✔️ 2 pairs of clothes (full sleeves preferred; no jeans).
✔️ 3 liters of water (no compromise), plate, and spoon.
✔️ Rainwear (raincoat/umbrella/all-weather jacket).
✔️ Head torch with extra batteries.
✔️ Sleeping bag/blanket.
✔️ Plastic cover to carry trash.
✔️ Toiletries: paper tissue, brush, toothpaste, sanitizer, towel.
✔️ Personal medication, if any.
✔️ A trash cover to carry your trash.

Note: Pack everything separately in plastic bags before placing them in the rucksack as they may get wet during rains.
