Khajaguda is 1 km away from West Durgam Cheruvu. This place has a lot of boulders, a lake, and numerous amazing caves. We will hike from the place to the nearby lake and then back to the rocks. We will be doing basic rock climbing and chimneying. There are many peacocks on these rocks.
Tentative Itinerary:
5:45 AM - Reach Meetup Location
6:00 AM - Assemble and Warm Up
6:30 AM - Proceed with activities: Climbing basics, Rope Ascending Technique
Ascending is a core technique used in rock climbing, mountaineering, and rope access to move upward along a fixed rope using specialized mechanical devices or friction hitches, such as a Prusik knot. Unlike free climbing, where a climber relies on their hands and feet directly on the rock face for upward progress, ascending relies on these tools and knots for rope support, as they slide smoothly up the line but lock securely in place when weight is applied.
