Are you interested in collaborating with other filmmakers, actors, and crew to produce amazing short films? Join us and see if you have what it takes to be part of the "Collective."
We are looking for passionate, willing, individuals who are serious about crafting a career in film. You will have to prove yourself in many aspects including character, personality, experience, and talent. If you are going to be working with us, we need to know you are a right fit. We are looking to create a solid production team. Your energy and attitude are major factors in your selection. Film sets are stressful environments, and we need to know if we can count on you when the going gets tough.
We do not want to create amateur material that will go nowhere. There is a need for good short films that can open doors to bigger opportunities. You will be exposed to all aspects of filmmaking and will learn by experience. This isn’t a community for working professionals in the industry. It’s for those of us that want more experience and a platform to cultivate and develop our skills while collaborating with other like-minded individuals who are passionate about walking this career path.
Our goal: To create high-quality professional short films that we can be proud of and use to add to our portfolio, gain IMDB credit, and open doors to allow us to work as creative professionals. We plan to submit our short films to festivals and competitions once a solid production team is created.
General meetings will take place in Irvine for the most part. We are looking to fill all types of roles on a film set: make up, production assistants, wardrobe, set designers, actors, producers, directors, editors, sound mixers, cinematographers, script supervisors, etc. We are especially looking for good screenwriters. Interested in creating films and need experience? You can apply as an intern.
