What we’re about
We are a tradition of Witchcraft based in the DC/NOVA/MD area. We put on public rituals for many of the sabbats as well as a number of classes on various Wiccan and Witchcraft-related topics. We are also a Wiccan tradition that people can participate in casually, or through the deeper path of initiation. All respectful individuals are welcome!

See all- Firefly Mabon Retreat 2025Caroline Furnace Sukkah Village, Fort Valley, VA
With the approach of Autumn comes the Firefly House's annual Mabon retreat. This year, it will take place from Thursday, September 18, through Sunday, September 21. As we have done for the prior few years, we'll be returning to Sukkah Village at the Caroline Furnace Camp and Retreat in Fort Valley, VA (about 90 minutes to 2 hours away from DC — rides will be available). And, as is also our tradition, we'll be sharing the space with our friends from the Wilderness Between!
Reserving this space is expensive, so we will be asking that attendees pay between $50 and $75 for the full weekend. Payment details will be ironed out and shared shortly.
For those that have not attended before, cabins are available that sleep up to eight people on bunk beds. You can also bring a tent if you prefer. There is also a bath house with flush toilets and showers, so while we may not have all the comforts of home, we aren't entirely roughing it either.
You're expected to provide your own food, and we will have a shared feast on Saturday night. Bringing a food offering for the feast is encouraged. There is a refrigerator available, but space is limited. We'll also have a number of ice chests.
For complete details about the event, see this document. Otherwise, if you have any questions, post below or, even better, join our Discord where the majority of our event planning takes place.
