Uzbek cuisine sits at the crossroads of Central Asia and the historic Silk Road, with influences from Persian, Turkic and wider Central Asian food traditions. Expect hearty, comforting dishes built around rice, meat, vegetables, dumplings, breads and aromatic spices.
Samarkand is especially known for Uzbek favourites such as plov, manti and grilled kebabs, making this a great chance to try some dishes that may be completely new to you.

As always, Foodie Fellowship is just as much about meeting people as it is about eating. Come alone or bring a friend. The idea is to share a table, try something different and meet fellow food lovers.

Taco lovers, this one is for us!

On Tuesday, 13 October at 18:00, the Foodie Fellowship is heading to Tabú in Leiden for their Bottomless Taco Tuesday!

Every Tuesday, Tabú offers unlimited tacos from a selected taco menu. Tabú is all about colourful Latin American flavours, lively vibes, sharing food and enjoying the evening together.

🧀 Raclette Menu – Start with shared Alpine appetizers, followed by traditional raclette served with charcuterie and salad, and finish with delicious mini desserts.

🍽️ Chef’s Menu – A shared selection of starters, followed by your choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian main course, and a selection of mini desserts.

No matter which menu you choose, expect generous portions, authentic French flavors, and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for getting to know fellow food lovers.

Commitment & No-Shows: Please RSVP only if you are 100% committed to attending. Late cancellations and no-shows affect the experience for everyone and may result in waitlisting for future events.

If your plans change, please update your RSVP at least 48 hours in advance so s omeone from the waitlist can take your place.

Payment: To keep things simple, we’ll settle the bill using Tikkie. Please come prepared to pay digitally, as cash payments won’t be possible.
