Let's meet at Café Bistro LOFT this time, a unique café in a renovated chruch with a colorful and vibrant menu. There's a wide selection perfect for vegetarians and vegans as well.

We won't be reading together, but please feel free to bring along your most recent read to discuss (or judge by the cover, whatever works).

Please only sign up if you intend to attend the event. In case you can't make it, make sure to update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance so that the next person from the waitlist can join us.

To celebrate The Foodie Fellowship’s 2-year anniversary, we're excited to play cupid again and organize a special event for single foodies to meet, connect, and share their love for great food.

This year, we're making it bigger and better! The event will have two parts: a relaxed, open mixer for all single foodies, and an optional, structured speed-dating session for a specific age group.

### 📝 How This Event Works

Part 1: The Foodie Singles Mixer (All Welcome!) This is the main event and is open to all single members. It’s a relaxed and casual setting for you to mingle freely, chat with other foodies, and make new connections at your own pace. To join this part, just RSVP and show up!

Part 2: The Optional Speed-Dating (Ages 28–39) Within the main mixer, we will host a dedicated speed-dating session for those aged 28 to 39. This is a fantastic way to have structured, one-on-one conversations with multiple people.

• Limited Spots: To ensure a quality experience and balanced groups, spots for speed-dating are limited.
• How to Join: To apply for the speed-dating portion, please answer 'Yes' on the RSVP question when you sign up.
• Confirmation: We will select participants from the 'Yes' RSVPs, prioritizing early sign-ups and ensuring we have a balanced group. Your spot is only confirmed at the event.

### 🕒 Event Timeline & Flow

• 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Welcome & Mixer Kick-off
• Everyone arrives, grabs a drink or snack, and starts mingling.
• 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM: Structured Speed-Dating Session
• Pre-registered participants will be guided to the designated area for the speed-dating rounds (approx. 6-8 minutes each).
• The main mixer continues for all other guests, so the conversation never stops!
• 8:45 PM onwards: Icebreaker Games & Final Mingling
• The speed-dating session concludes, and everyone comes together for some fun, low-pressure icebreaker games and more relaxed conversation.

### 💡 Matching Process (for Speed-Dating)

You're right, the Meetup Connections feature is gone, but here are two simple and effective methods:

• Option A: The Digital Method (Recommended)
• After the event, we'll send a private link to a Google Form to all speed-dating participants. You can discreetly select the names of the people you'd like to connect with again. We will then email mutual matches their contact details within 48 hours.
• Option B: The Classic Card Method
• Each participant will get a "match card." During the event, you can discreetly tick "yes" for the people you connect with. At the end, you hand the card back to the host. We will then connect the mutual matches via email.

### 📌 Important Guidelines for All Attendees

• Profile Pictures: A real profile picture where we can see your face is required for attending.
• Commitment: Please only RSVP if you can genuinely commit to attending.
• No-Shows: A 'no-show' will result in being waitlisted or removed from future special events. This is especially critical for the speed-dating portion, as a single absence affects the entire group's experience.
