Alabaster DePlume (jazz/spoken word) live in concert @ Le Poisson Rouge

THE PLAN
Let's meet across the street from the venue at Carroll Place bar at 6:30pm to get acquainted a bit before the show. We'll walk (a 1 minute walk!) over to the venue (Le Poisson Rouge) around 7:30pm, (doors at 7pm, show at 8pm). Friendly reminder to please get your tickets ahead of time. The concert isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, so check out the details below. Hope to see you there!

ABOUT THE MUSIC
Alabaster DePlume
(From Wikipedia) "Angus Fairbairn, known professionally as Alabaster DePlume, is an English jazz musician, saxophonist, spoken word poet, composer, and activist.

...a 'balm of spoken word and spiritual jazz, both strangely uncomfortable and strangely comforting.'"

Please know that it's going to be mostly jazzy, but there may be some spoken-word aspects.
