Ongoing Drawing Fundamentals

In this drawing class we will look at not only the fundamentals and basics of a good drawing but also the compositional aspects as well as thinking and seeing objects differently. We will discuss tone and grayscale, gradients, and how to control your chosen medium. Students will learn to use their choice of either charcoal or pencil and we will discuss the various papers that can be used for optimum effect in making your drawing stand out. Learn how to showcase your drawings in making the viewer stop and look at what you want them to look at, and learn different techniques and tips to add to your drawing capability.

Fee: $40 per session or $160 for a block of 4 sessions
