👋 Hey guys! This is one of those cult classics we love to showcase whenever possible because it's at the bloody heart of American horror history. If you haven't seen it yet, come along and experience what true terror looks like in broad daylight.

Directed by Tobe Hooper, this groundbreaking 1974 low budget nightmare follows a group of friends on a road trip through the sweltering Texas countryside, where they stumble upon a family of murderous cannibals and find themselves hunted by one of horror's most unforgettable icons, Leatherface.

The film not only redefined horror but introduced one of cinema's most iconic villains. It was also banned in several countries, including this one, adding even more to its infamous reputation.

The Meetup: We'll be meeting directly at the Prince Charles Cinema Bar (downstairs) at 5:30 pm. The screening begins at 6:00 pm, and you'll find me in seat E5. After the film, at around 7:45 pm, we'll wrap things up with our commentary and Letterboxd scores.
