🛏️ A crazy thing happened when I spotted the imposter… It took over my childhood!**

👋 What's up guys! You know, there are some unique cases where a child may encounter terrifying, maybe even astral, adversarial experiences. But I was a special kid, lol, so let's move swiftly on to Rob Savage's new entry. You may remember him from previous films like Host and The Boogeyman, so he certainly knows his way around our bedrooms.

This film in particular is a supernatural psychological horror that follows an 8-year-old girl facing the ultimate nightmare. A malicious entity emerges from her closet, perfectly mimicking her mum in an attempt to destroy and replace her family. What follows pulls her into a relentless and rather extreme case of identity theft.

Now, as horror aficionados, we've definitely heard some of these plot points before, especially when it comes to creepy entities and childhood fears of things lurking in the closet. So, not exactly new territory. However, this one looks like it could carry something a little different, perhaps throwing us off a little. So let’s check it out and hope for the best. 🤞

The Meetup: We'll be meeting up in Central London for drinks before the film, where we'll have a chat about supernatural nightmares before heading to the cinema. After the film, we'll regroup to share our thoughts, discuss what we've just witnessed, and give it our Letterboxd scores.
