👋 Hey guys! You know, there’s nothing better than a werewolf hosting a horror comedy about vampires. And that’s only because I have an open mind. 🐺🧛‍♂️

This defining piece of 1980s American pop culture graces us with all the sexy vampires we need, teenage vampire lore and plenty of MTV-style fashion and aesthetics. And that’s not just lip service from me. Consider it my bite-on-the-neck contribution for the evening, as this movie pretty much speaks for itself.

Now, the motion picture you’re about to see was directed by the late Joel Schumacher, and it’s fast approaching its 40-year mark. It follows two teenage brothers who move to a California coastal town that just happens to be secretly overrun by vampires. Sounds like my kind of town.

The Meetup: We’ll be meeting at 7:30 pm at Victory House Wine Bar for some Vampire Survival Trivia, with a Bloody Prize up for grabs if you know your vampires best. 🧄 Then we’ll head next door to the Prince Charles Cinema for the 8:30 pm screening. You’ll find me in seat D14 if you’d like to sit in the same row.

After the film, at around 10:25 pm, we’ll regroup at the bar to share our thoughts, discuss the massacre we’ve just witnessed and share our Letterboxd scores. You’ll also find the full ticket information, cinema address and map down below, so you won’t get lost.

You’ll definitely want to sink your teeth into this one, especially if you haven’t seen it in a bit. Because blood always tastes different after a while. 🩸
