👽 No matter how the world ends, always fight to survive!

👋 Hello everyone! We’re hanging out this evening to watch this new South Korean sci-fi action-horror creature feature from Na Hong-jin, the acclaimed filmmaker behind The Wailing.

The story takes us to the remote South Korean village of Hope Harbor, near the North Korean border. After devastating wildfires cut the community off from the outside world, something mysterious and destructive begins to descend upon the town.

The film looks like a lot of fun! It features a "darker territory" of survival and visceral brutality, side to side with unhinged, slapstick action & broad, absurd comedy.

The Meetup: We’ll be meeting at Victory House Bar from 6:45 pm, which is just a five-minute walk from the cinema. The film begins at 7:50 pm at Cineworld Leicester Square (Screen 6), where I’ve selected seat A6 (but feel free to pick any seat you like).

After the film, at around 10:45 pm, we’ll meet up again to share our thoughts, reviews and Letterboxd scores. You’ll also find the full schedule breakdown, ticket information and addresses below.
