📖 For the scripture warns of an evil that cannot be contained: What is thy name? And he answered, My name is Legion for we are many. (The Book of Mark)

👋 What's going on, guys! This is definitely a film I consider to be one of the most underrated. And perhaps we can blame those derivative sequels and the vexatious studio politics that overshadowing this gem. And as a true horror fan, I would like to change that.

I absolutely love this film, written and directed by William Peter Blatty, based on his own novel Legion. Because neither the book nor the movie intended to blaspheme us with yet another exorcism. Quite the opposite, actually. This one always intended to compel us to explore the lingering consequences of a demonic possession and the aftermath for those left behind.

The Meetup: I'll meet you guys at 7:00 pm at The Atrium Bar which is inside the Garden Cinema. Inside will be discussing the book Legion and what is Legion? Then at 8:10 pm, we’ll over to Screen 2 where you’ll find me in seat A4 if you’d like to join me there.

After the film, at around 10:20 pm, we’ll regroup again to share our thoughts and give it our Letterboxd scores. You’ll also find full ticket information, cinema address and map down below, so you can find your way.

Sometimes, even the noblest acts can never go unpunished, particularly those considered holy, when the devil roams the Earth.

See you guys there!
Jonny
