Hey guys! 👋 And suppressed it was for sure, for so many years. This particular sequel from Jack Sholder is considered the most thematically unique in the series, due to its bold subtext and deeper themes.
The premise follows Jesse Walsh as he moves into the infamous Elm Street house, only for the man of his dreams to attempt to possess his body from the inside out to commit a bloody real-world killing spree.
The Meetup: We’ll be meeting at Victory House Wine Bar at 5:30 pm before heading over for the 6:00 pm screening. You’ll find me in seat B5 if you’d like to join me there.
After the film, at around 7:50 pm, we’ll regroup again to discuss the film and go for a few drinks down the road. You’ll also find full ticket information, cinema address and map down below, so you can find your way.
This film definitely stirred some controversy at the time, but you’ll have to watch it to truly appreciate its layers.
