What we’re about
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN! ! We are Boulder's longest running improv community. As you can see, we have hundreds of members who love improv just like you! We have fine-tuned our offering to two classes:
- BEGINNING IMPROV - THE IMPROV SAMPLER — an overview of both scenic long form and gamey short form and
- IMPROV SCENES - SEASONAL SEMESTERS —a 10 week improv intensive for those who have completed the SAMPLER and want to to delve deeper into theatrical improv.
In addition to sharing the love of improv, we promote comraderie. Feeling safe helps creativity to florish.cInterested? Contact Rebecca@theimprovcollaborative.com or call 303-588-0550

Congrats on trying something new!
Plan your Fall Semester Now! THESE CLASSES FILL UP FAST!Improv is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get! Improv is a fantastic way to step outside your comfort zone and build confidence. Our introductory class is perfect for beginners and covers the two main styles of improv: short-form games (like those in "Whose Line is it Anyway?") and long-form scene work.
This is the gateway class to improv. We focus on providing you with fundamental improv tools in a supportive and playful environment. Students often find they form strong connections with their classmates as they learn and grow together. While improv can be funny, our main goal is to encourage exploration and build confidence in navigating the unexpected. You don't need to be a natural comedian to participate – just bring your sense of adventure!
