Improvisational Theater
Unlike any other class in the Boulder area, this course leans into theatrical principles to elevate your performance skills. Improvisors learn to be the stage designers, actors, and writers of their own scenes as we focus on two-person scenework, developing a clear point of view, incorporating Viewpoints, and creating authentic characters with genuine reactions. This grounded approach leads to captivating scenes the audience will lean into. While humor may naturally arise, it’s a byproduct of strong, truthful scene work—not the primary aim. Performing duos are especially encouraged to attend.
