5-week Introduction to Mindfulness from September 9th – October 7th (Wednesdays 6.30pm – 8.00pm). The course will give an opportunity to go deeper into the mindfulness practise and will include the following:
· Week 1: Connecting with the Present Moment – introduction to mindfulness
· Week 2: Working with the Senses – using the senses to practice mindfulness
· Week 3: Mindfulness of Thoughts and Emotions – working with challenges like stress, negative emotions, negative thoughts, pain etc
· Week 4: Enhancing Positive Experiences with Mindfulness – how to strengthen and deepen happiness with mindfulness
· Week 5: Making mindfulness part of your life – course review and continuing to get the benefits after the course, building a daily practice and living mindfully
· Morning Retreat – a chance to practice at a deeper level through a morning of silent practice
