This 2-day introductory experience is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the basics of drumming in a relaxed, inspiring studio environment.
How It Works:
This isn't a crowded group class.
You get 1-on-1 private instruction for one hour on Monday evening, and one hour on Tuesday evening.
Day 1 (Monday): Demystifying the drum kit.
You'll get comfortable behind the drums, learn how to hold the sticks and you'll be able to play a basic drumbeat!
Day 2 (Tuesday): Finding the pocket.
We'll smooth out your groove and you will play your first beat with confidence :)
About Me:
I've been drumming since I was a kid and have spent the last 20 years working as a professional music producer and mix engineer (including scores for film and advertising).
You will sit behind the drum kit and I will guide you through it.
My goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free zone where you can make noise, make mistakes, and discover how fun it is to hold down a groove.

Q: I'd love to play the drums, but I can't move my arms and legs separately from each other. Is this for me?
A: It might seem impossible right now, but I promise you can do it! "Limb independence" is just a matter of training, and I will guide you through it step-by-step. By breaking it down into simple, relaxed movements, you will be playing a steady beat using your hands and your feet on the very first day. No natural talent required!
Q: What level of experience is required? What if I played a little bit in the past?
A: This course is primarily designed for absolute beginners with zero musical background. However, because these are private sessions, the pace is completely tailored to you.
If you played drums years ago and want to dust off your skills, we will skip the absolute basics and jump right into getting your groove back.
Q: Do I need to know how to read sheet music?
A: Not at all. I will teach you the basics of rhythm notes and I promise you: it's easier than you think!
Q: Will it be too loud or physically hard?
A: We will focus on a relaxed posture and easy techniques. Hearing protection will be provided in the studio so your ears stay completely safe and comfortable.
Practical Details & Booking:
Schedule: Sessions start from 17:00 onwards this Monday and Tuesday.
Availability: I am only taking 5 students to ensure everyone gets a dedicated time slot. First come, first served!
The Investment: This full 2-day experience is €100 total (a private lesson is normally worth €70). Payment in cash at the studio on Monday.
