The Presence Project for people interested in being present and how to be more present and particularly, if you have the lifelong ambition to be fully present every waking moment. (also known as enlightenment)
Being present creates feelings of aliveness, expansion, awe, connectedness to all things. If you are not living in the present moment, you are missing out on a joyous life.
Living in the present moment means stepping away from our past influences and not being driven by our future striving. It is a peaceful and conscious way to live your life.
Each week I present a talk designed to help you be more present in your life. The talks are grounded in science and offer practical application as well as embracing ideas from Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, the Heart Math Institute, Teal Scott, Martin Seligman (positive psychology) and others.
The ground rules of showing up are simple
Our goal is to be present as possible, so we avoid discussions that take us into ego such as debating or finger pointing.
Practise wise discernment - i.e. take what works for you and ignore the rest.
Be aware of your own emotional state and how it impacts others- e.g. its more important to be happy than to arrive on time
