- How do product teams create meaningful growth while staying adaptable in a fast-changing market?
In this TPG Live roundtable, we will explore how product leaders balance growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability. Strong products create momentum by earning customer trust, making thoughtful investments, and building healthy businesses over time. This session will look at how teams evaluate trade-offs, prioritize opportunities, and make strategic decisions that support both immediate progress and future resilience.
We will also examine how product judgment is evolving as the industry changes around us. AI is accelerating execution, product roles are expanding, and many traditional frameworks are being re-evaluated in real time. We will discuss how experienced product leaders approach decision-making when conditions are changing quickly, signals are incomplete, and multiple perspectives need to come together around a shared direction.
- What helps product leaders make thoughtful bets in environments that continue to evolve?
- How can teams create momentum while staying responsive to new opportunities and changing conditions?
This session brings together practical insights and real-world experience from product leaders who are helping their teams grow, adapt, and make stronger decisions in dynamic environments. Whether you are balancing growth with profitability or navigating product decisions without a fixed playbook, you will leave with strategies that strengthen judgment, adaptability, and long-term thinking.

Growth vs. Profit in Product: Striking the Right Balance
Chasing growth can put pressure on product quality, team morale, and long-term sustainability. In this discussion, we will explore how product leaders navigate the tension between rapid growth and profitability. Learn how to set balanced goals, evaluate trade-offs, and make strategic bets that serve both short-term milestones and long-term resilience. Hear from teams that have found success by putting financial health and customer trust on equal footing.Product Judgment Without a Playbook: Making the Hard Calls
Many of the frameworks product teams rely on were built for a different era. Metrics, prioritization models, testing methodologies, and org structures are all evolving as AI reshapes execution, roles continue to converge, and teams operate in increasingly uncertain environments. In this roundtable, we will explore what product judgment looks like when the standard playbook no longer fully applies. Learn how experienced product leaders make high-stakes decisions when the path forward is unclear, the process itself is still forming, and the signals are often incomplete or conflicting. We will also discuss how teams build alignment across functions when people approach the same product from fundamentally different perspectives. Whether you are navigating AI transformation, organizational change, or rapid market shifts, this session will help you lead with greater clarity, adaptability, and confidence.Would you like to be considered for a Featured Product slot? Build Night: Let's Make Something Together
Beahive Beacon, 6 Eliza St, Beacon, NY, USThis month, by popular demand, we’re going to build something together.
We'll walk slowly through the actual steps of shipping software with AI: dev workflows, automations, maybe some Gitflow, maybe deploying if we get far enough. We'll aim to demystify some of the more technical aspects of building tech products.
The goal here isn’t to walk away with a finished product, but rather to take an honest look at how this stuff actually gets built.
Dumplings and seltzers will be available!
Who should attend: Product managers, aspiring PMs, product designers, founders, engineers, data scientists, and anyone whose work sits at the intersection of people, decisions, and products—whether you’re just starting out or leading teams.
Format: Mostly improv on a screenshare. We'll figure out what to build based on the room. If we need a starting point, we'll work on something like an equity dilution calculator or a revenue projection tool. Both small enough to make real progress on in one session.
Bring: A laptop (if you'd like to push some code yourself).
This is your invitation to:
- Be a part of a growing Hudson Valley product community
- Connect with thoughtful local builders and leaders
- Leave with insights you can apply immediately in your work

https://patreon.com/TheProductWay/membershipAbout the venue: Inspired by the coworking and localism movements in the early aughts, Beahive is a pioneering network of hives for work and belonging — the first and only of its kind in the Hudson Valley, one of only a handful in all of NY, and one of probably only a few hundred in the world when it opened.
