About us
Welcome to The Project Community - Wellington (formerly known as the PRINCE2 User Group Meetup). This group was formed in 2009 to help support those adopting PRINCE2 in the Wellington Region. We are connected to The Project Community - Auckland (also formerly known as the PRINCE2 Auckland User Group) who had their first meeting on September 18, 2012. Both groups will continue to hold free sessions throughout the year and continue to support those interested in getting their PRINCE2 foundation or practitioner qualifications but we want to actively promote and support capabilities in those other areas of project management, programme management, portfolio management, project office management, benefits management, strategic realisation and change management. We'll also take an interest in digitisation, Agile development, Business intelligence and Artificial intelligence. If you can do a project with it, then we're interested in it.
Note, there is no formal constitution and membership is free. Costs of venues, food and liquid refreshments at our meetings are through the generosity of our sponsors.

Rhedyn Law leads a team of policy advisors and land use planners developing standard zones, overlays and other content to deliver the Government’s new planning system.
Rhedyn is familiar with the complexities of environment and urban policy and has experience in a broad range of policy areas, from comprehensive system reform to urban legislation. Prior to central government she worked as a planning consultant, delivering policy and regulatory planning services for district and regional councils, crown entities and private clients. Rhedyn has also worked in manufacturing, refining production processes to improve productivity. She has a background in engineering and is a Master of Urban Planning.

Pavan is a chief executive, board director, investor, and entrepreneur who has spent the last decade in New Zealand's energy and technology sectors. He recently became the majority shareholder and Managing Director of UPS Power Solutions, which delivers the critical power and uninterruptible power supply infrastructure behind much of New Zealand Inc. Healthcare, banking, aviation, data centres, telecommunications, utilities, corrections, national security and emergency response, basically the critical infrastructure holds that keeps the country running.
Before UPS Power Solutions, Pavan was Chief Executive of Flick Electric and of RUSH Digital, leading in high-growth industries. He has also served as an independent director and his core thesis is a simple one: an organisation grows at the rate its people grow, and its people grow at the rate its leader does. Strategy, capital and technology all matter, but they are downstream of that. Pavan speaks about making raising the standard of thinking, handing people harder problems earlier, and treating one's own development as the highest leverage work a CEO or director does.
