Walk Details
A delightful circular walking starting in the picturesque and historic village of Brixworth. We'll be starting our walk at The George Pub in Brixworth and walking towards Brixworth country park. From there we'll be making our way back to Brixworth village via the Brampton Valley Way. The walk will be on established paths and tracks with no stiles. There are some hills on route but nothing too strenuous. We shall be taking a brief break during the walk but there are no refreshment or toilet facilities available until the end of the walk. Parking is available at The George Pub is you are planning to visit for a drink or meal afterwards. If not there is plenty of on road parking in the vicinity
Brixworth is a beautiful Northamptonshire village with a rich history. We shall be walking through the village and will have the opportunity to see some of the blue plaques located throughout the village commemorating historic houses and locations. We shall also have the opportunity to take in some wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The walk will be mainly on firm tracks and paths but these may well be muddy in places so be prepared. There is also a field and spinney that we cross on our way back to Brixworth which is likely to be muddy.
