Rothwell & Desborough Explorer

A 7 mile circular walk led by Jennifer C.
This walk is provided by Ramblers Northampton. Don't worry if there aren't many attendees listed on Meetup, there will be several Ramblers members on the walk. If this is your first walk with us, please make yourself known to the walk leader at the start.

Walk Details
Starting in Rothwell from the Market Hill car park we will walk down Hospital Hill and skirt around the church to pick up some footpaths which take us through the middle of Rothwell. We will then climb up Rock Hill and on leaving the town, we will continue across a number of fields to Desborough. We will pass through the town on footways and continue across more fields back to Rothwell. At the edge of Rothwell we will make a scenic detour via some woods before returning to the Market Square. Some of the fields might be a bit muddy.
At the end of the walk, you are welcome to join me in the Rowell Charter Inn, which is a short walk from the Market Hill car park.
