Dear SKG Gophers,
Summer is already here and we are kick-starting the summer break with the 2nd SKG Gophers meetup.
This meet will take place on Thursday, 3rd of June at 19:00 UTC+3.
Picking up where we left off, the upcoming talks will help new Gophers navigate their way through the modern Go ecosystem. From Go installation to Heroku deployments.
Talks:
How to become a Go Open Source developer - Panagiotis Georgiadis
Panagiotis will guide us through the Go setup and most common IDEs. Finally, he will show us what the modern Go ecosystem has to offer, showcasing well known Go projects, libraries and related resources.
Git push heroku main - Ioannis Demelis
This talk is going to be a two-part coding session. Gradually moving from an easy-to-setup development environment using Visual Studio Code remote containers to Heroku app deployments.
