It's been a long time since the summer break and we are getting back on track with the first meetup for this season.

Discover Go's beauty of Concurrency - Patroklos Papapetrou
Concurrency is one of the most attractive yet super simple features of Go. It comes in different flavors and levels of power to ensure that we can get the best out of it with minimum coding. In this talk, Patroklos is going to cover the following topics : - Goroutines - Mutex Locking - Channels. The purpose of the talk is to get the audience familiar with all these concepts.
Service instrumentation from the trenches. Intro to OpenTelemetry - Athanasios Irodotou
Is OpenTelemetry the future of instrumentation? In this talk, Thanos is going to introduce us to Application Performance Monitoring frameworks and OpenTelemetry followed by a demonstration of how to integrate OpenTelementry with Go services.
