In a National Institute of Health article by Houston and McFarlane titled "Health Benefits of Tai Chi," they concluded, "There is abundant evidence on the health and fitness effects of tai chi. Based on this, physicians can now offer evidence-based recommendations to their patients, noting that tai chi is still an area of active research, and patients should continue to receive medical follow-up for any clinical conditions.
Practicing Tai Chi may be the most amazing mind-body exercise you can do for overall health and well-being.
And we practice and teach a modernized, enhanced version of Tai Chi.

Many of our first-time members report experiencing the power of our modernized, enhanced version of the ancient Yang Style 24 Form of Tai Chi. We call it Tai Chi Enhanced Style (TCES).
Many of our new members report feeling a powerful sense of:
- Calmness
- Tranquility
- Relaxation
- Happiness
Other members have reported at the end of their first session of the TCES feeling less:
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Depression
- PTSD
- Pain
- Trauma symptoms
In our last session on 14 December 2024, I asked the group who has experienced a health benefit from doing the TCES, and it looked like 100% of the more than 30 members at that session raised their hands.

NOTE: We don't diagnose, treat, or cure any health conditions. We teach TCES so your mind and body can do what it does best. The results can be amazing.
With TCES, we instructors always keep the training session SAFE for everyone, SIMPLE to do, FUN for all, HEALTH-enhancing, and as AUTHENTIC as possible (SSFHA).
This weekly 60-minute session is open to all adults, all ability and mobility levels. If you can walk to the park, you can do it.
Our Process is simple to follow:
- We begin with 2-3 sessions of the Yang Style 24 Form and go really slow.
- New members simply follow and copy what they see.
- We then split into several smaller groups based on ability and begin teaching and training.
- If you are new, you join Level One. You will begin to learn in small increments as you walk through the beginning stages.
- As you progress, you will begin learning to do the Yang Style 24 Form with our modernized, enhanced health version that makes it Safe, Simple, Fun, Healthy, and as Authentic as possible.
- As you keep coming back, you move to the other levels at your own pace.
- As you continue to learn and grow, you will enhance your power to experience more amazing results of TCES.
- You can join in at any time. Simply pick a location and show up.
