The Tipsy Meeple

MONDAY NIGHT IS GAME NIGHT!
With the relaxing of CDC guidelines and the seasonal/endemic nature of covid we will no longer be checking vaccination records. We still encourage everyone to stay home if you are feeling ill and do your best to protect your fellow gamers. We want to make sure that everyone is safe, healthy, and included so please be respectful of your fellow players. All attendees must be 18 or older.

There is a world of gaming outside of the traditional Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, etc. Whether you're looking for something new and different, or you're a seasoned gamer, you'll find a friendly and welcoming bunch of friends to game with. We bring some of our games but feel free to bring your favorites, or, learn one of ours! Don't be shy about learning new games either, everyone is more than willing to teach new players!

We use Discord, a free chat application available on Android/iOS and Desktop, to help us organize and set our games of the week. We highly encourage the use of discord to keep conversations going and interact with others from the meetup. This will be our main form of scheduling games ahead of Monday. Please contact Rob (the event organizer) or Co-Organizers Corey, Lucas, Jen or Jonathan for access to our Discord channel.

While we are not looking at scheduling every game ahead of time and we will always have options and availability the night of, we are working on improved ways to get more games scheduled prior to the night of.

We begin gathering around 6:00 pm and are fully underway by 7pm. If you plan to eat please arrive closer to 6pm so you can eat before the gaming starts.

Since they are letting us use the space for free, we hope that you will patronize the store in whatever way you can. They sell games as well as snacks and sodas so give the store a look.

We have consistently had 35+ people at our meetup on Monday, but not everyone RSVP’s. I am asking that people please try to RSVP so people checking out our meetup page know it is a large and active group.
