Summer Restaurant Week [RW] is back in DC!:

• Officially runs Aug 18 - 24 [some places will extend the deal beyond these dates]
• 3-course fixed-price dinner special for $40 / $55 / $65 price tiers [not including drinks, and our required 30% tax / tip]

→ For this RW event Zaytinya will be at the $55 tier, so the minimum cost for the deal is $72 [drinks, wine/beer, and any extras items are additional and still factors our 30% tax/tip]

Organizer JoeN is back in town, and is again leading a Restaurant Week dinner event! We're checking out modern Mediterranean at one of our favorites, Zaytinya (Gallery Place Chinatown)

FOOD: Elevated Mediterranean (Mezze / Tapas). Under the direction of the celebrated Chef José Andrés. Since its opening in 2002, the DC branch has been in the Michelin Guide several times. The mezze menu, the Mediterranean equivalent of tapas, draws inspiration from Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisines. This focus on shared small plates encourages a social dining experience, emphasizing conversation and communal enjoyment

→ Checkout Zaytinya's RW menu. Reminder: All must opt into the RW menu and priceponts. Zaytinya will do 4 Courses + Dessert deal (reminder, these are mezze portions)

SPACE: Best described as sleek, modern, light, and airy. It features soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows in the main dining area. The bar area is pretty spacious and is popular for happy hours and more relaxed meetups with friends.

CLOSEST METRO: Gallery Place [Red, Yellow, Green]. Take the Gallery Place and 9th Street exist. Once you exit, Zaytinya will be directly in front of you. You'll easily spot the restaurant because it's in a large glass building with a distinct metal art piece on it

For directions using the Metro, try using the Trip Planner at the WMATA website.

PARKING: No Valet parking. Multiple Parking Garages are nearby, though. Else, street parking within 4 blocks is not impossible, but come early to hunt

1. Limited to 8 slots.
2. If you RSVP "YES" please make sure you can definitely make it. With 5,000+ members and limited seating, we cannot afford no-shows. It's unfair to the other members who would like to attend and also to the organizers who have to explain to the restaurant why the reserved # of guests didn't show (can damage our reputation and ability to do larger reservations in the future). No-Show / Late Cancel rules apply (repeat No-Show or Late Cancel can impact membership).
3. Join the WAIT-LIST if you don't get an initial spot! Use the Waitlist option. Also, check back regularly as attendees have been known to cancel up to Noon the day of the event. We may use emails during the week to confirm continued interest, so check!
