Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

As we gather now, we will call forth the powers of the new moon on this night. As opposed to our ecstatic full moon rituals of revelry, the new moon will be a time of solemn reverence to call upon what has been lost from the infernal depths of our history. This will be used attain forgotten aspects, reunite old ties, communicate with beloved spirits, and so on. Come to this ritual with that which you wish to regain in mind.5 attendees - $30.00

In this workshop we we all be able to make three dipped spell candles. You will be provided with an ivory colored wax as well as scented oils and herbs you may want to work into the taper itself. We will walk you through a brief history of candle magic, correspondences, and uses of the different ingredients we provide before getting our hands messy with some good old fashioned witchcraft.5 attendees - $120.00
Malliway's Academy: Folk Magic Course II

There will only be a certain amount of tickets available so that the each class has more room for personal attention. Because these classes are a four-part course, it is best to attend each one or you will not be able to work through all of the class activities.
Full class course tickets can be purchased HERE for $120.
Introducing our new multi-part series of magical study the Chicago Folk Magic Course. Unlike our other classes, in these lessons we will work through a curriculum to advance with the art of folk magic from class to class. This will include homework, in-class experimentation, taking on magical disciplines, and personal attention in smaller groups.
Our second class in this course will focus on the unique landscapes, energies, cultures, and legends of the Chicago area. We will use this to build an understanding of its power and how we can develop it into a magical tradition. In this class, we will work with the magic of location. Each attendee will be asked to bring an item from a unique landmark of the Chicago area.3 attendees - $120.00

Our third class will focus on connecting to spirits of the dead, place, nature, and so on. We will learn about the differences between these spirits, how to work with them, commune, make pacts, and give offerings. During this class we will practice conjuring friendly spirits to work acts of magic with.1 attendee
