Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

In this workshop, we will explore the theme of raising power in a magic circle. The last few classes have focused on building our ritual circle, and invoking the gods, which will carry over into this gathering. After our discussion on various forms of raising power, we will all proceed into our private ritual space to put these techniques together.
This meetup is intended for practicing solitary witches who are interested in exploring structured group work. Unlike other rituals offered through Malliway Bros, which cover a broad range of practical magical techniques, these gatherings focus specifically on helping practitioners integrate their personal, solitary practices into a collective setting. They also offer an opportunity for witches to deepen and refine their spiritual path as it relates to the Craft.
This gathering is open to all who identify as witches, regardless of experience level. In working through these classes, participants will ideally have developed or further refined their personal spirituality as it relates to the practice of witchcraft. At the conclusion of our meeting, you will have the skillset to either move forward in search of your own magical group or continue on to develop your own practice using the methods we’ve learned throughout the year.
Although this group will continue to build upon itself meeting after meeting, you’re welcome to join in at any time throughout the year.9 attendees - $10.00

The Yuletide is nearly upon us, witches! So let's do what we do best and make it spooky. Join us on this evening for a dark night of midwinter magic. Yule is the longest night of the year, and for many of us, the most horrifying. We will be recognizing the lost souls at this time, calling on the old gods, and working our yearly Yule Log ritual to bring light and prosperity unto all within our circle. Come dressed in your ugliest holiday sweaters, hats, or foul festive fashions. It appeases the old gods greatly.10 attendees - $25.00

Container magic covers a huge array of magical methods. They are among the first that a witch will learn to use and the last that will go out of style. From charm bags to witch bottles, we will be delving into the history and uses of container magic as a whole, as well as looking into special differences between each kind.
At the end of the class, we will be working a "lightning in a bottle" spell to imbue and enhance powerful potential in any situation.2 attendees - $10.00

Christmas is over but the Yuletide season is still going strong! Join us for our third annual Wild Hunt ritual! The Wild Hunt is a spectral event throughout Yule when all forms of spirits will haunt the winter skies. We will talk (ever so briefly) through the folk lore of the Wild Hunt. Then we will crown one worthy candidate as the leader of the Wild Hunt this year.
Our ceremony will work to guide lost souls and garner favor from bountiful spirits for all members of the circle.4 attendees
