Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

See you there!In this workshop, we will explore a ‘traditional’ method of talisman-making, so pick an intention and come out for some hands-on, practical magic. We’ll briefly discuss what a talisman is and how it compares to a charm or an amulet before walking everyone through how to make one on their own. We provide all the ingredients, just bring an open mind and magical intention.

Malliway's Academy: Spirit of the Witch Course I

There will only be a certain amount of tickets available so that the each class has more room for personal attention. Because these classes are a four-part course, it is best to attend each one or you will not be able to work through all of the class activities.
Full class course tickets can be purchased HERE for $120.Welcome to Malliway's Cobblestone Academy! If you are serious in your explorations of magic and wish to wear the witch's mantle, then these courses will help give you a solid foundation, essential skills, and hands-on practice to develop your bewitching array. Alongside our standalone classes on different magical subjects, our Malliway's Academy courses will include a curriculum of four classes, each building on the next to find your own way on the Broken Road of witchcraft. Homework will be assigned for each class and those who attend each one will be given a diploma to prove their hard work!
In the Spirit of the Witch, we will learn all about energy and its uses in magic. This will include how to perceive, harness, and employ these forces, as well as where they come from and how different forms of magic use them. For our purposes, we will be focusing on the different facets of our own spirits as the lens through which we understand these powers.
Our first class will focus on lining out how energy is used as a tool in magic, where our power comes from, and what the multi-part soul is. As is academy tradition, students will also be sorted into disciplines to help direct the subject into a single focus. We will also practice a few exercises to feel and recognize the energy around us.

See you there!Beltane season is here, which means so is Walpurgisnacht! This night, whatever you call it, is a time much like Halloween where witches, spirits, and fairies cross the veil and walk the earth. It is the Devil's final celebration before the light chases him off. This time focuses on life, protection, frivolity, and fertility.
This spell is a rite of protection that will lean slightly onto the malefic side to subdue those that would work against us. Within it, we will focus on calling forth the Devil and his spirits in a big jamboree to keep us strong and safe in the upcoming days!5 attendees - $10.00
A Full Moon Beltane Ritual

See you there!Join us for an immersive Beltane ritual, where we will crown two members of the circle as the King and Queen of May! They will work to herald forth the fairies, spirits, and magical forces that are kindling to life at this time. In doing so, the forces around us will flourish and our own deeds with them! As this night is also a full moon, we will also be able to tap into its power to dispel any maleficium upon us and reveal hidden traces of magic in our path.
If you desire, bring with you any items you wish to enchant on the occulory as we cast our spell, as well as any small offering to the fairy court that we can burn in our ritual fire such as herbs, incense, sigils, drops of wine, or crumbs of food. If you EXTRA desire, come also dressed in your best fairy wares!
