Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

Devoted Unto Thee: Cultivating a Relationship with the Gods of the Witches
The Cobblestone Society, 1409 W Morse Ave, Chicago, IL, USThis six part course can be bought with a one-time payment of $150 through EVENTBRITE. Refunds can be made up to 48 hours before the first event on September 25. Tickets are not sold for single classes.
Witchcraft is more than just spells and potions. It certainly encompasses these things, but to reduce Witchcraft to nothing more than this strips it of one of its greatest strengths: its relationship with the Gods. Over the next six classes, a small cohort of practitioners will be led through a series of workshops designed to help them build a working relationship with the Gods. Each class combines discussion and hands-on ritual and take-home assignments to help each participant connect even more deeply with the subject matter. You will get out of this workshop exactly what you put into it, so come ready to participate! Witches of all skill levels are welcome to attend, but please note that each class will build upon the last and you cannot join once the course has begun.
Hearing the Call of the Gods
In the second of this six part series, we'll explore the many ways the gods communicate with us, from dreams to signs and omens. Together, we'll examine how to recognize and discern these moments of contact, and then perform a ritual to enhance our connection, and thus communication, with the gods. By the end of this workshop, participants will have a practical set of tools available to communicate with their gods even outside of ritual.2 attendees - $25.00

See you there!Hold your breath and your neck too while you're at it! In this class we will be studying the folklore of different purveyors of death across the mythological landscape. Which gods, angels, demons, spirits, and fairies hold sway over this station? And how do they differ? We will investigate this as well as the way death itself is perceived in each culture compared to ours today!
At the end of our class, we will work to placate death in an effort to keep its tread away from that which we hold dear.4 attendees - $30.00

See you there!What Halloween season is complete without the hauntingly prickled face of Jack-o-Lantern? Well did you know this tradition comes with its fair share of hauntings and magical practices? Of course it does! What fun would it be if it didn't? In this gathering, we'll get together and talk about some of these traditions, tell scary stories, and carve some pumpkins!
Naturally, we will end the evening with a small enchantment on the pumpkins and a photo-op with all of our creations. All pumpkins will be provided by us as well as some spooky treats.3 attendees
