About us

Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.

THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

What an age to be a witch! Let's get together for an unscripted time of bewitching company. While the daylight hours are still ticking away, we wanted to invite any wandering witches into the Cobblestone Society to pop by for a casual study hall of magic. The goal in this nook is for us to dedicate some time to learning and practicing the craft, and then to share what we've learned with each other!

5:30-6:30 will be an hour of quiet study, practice, or crafting.
6:30-7:30 will be an hour of sharing our findings with the group!

This is a free and casual event, so no need to show up promptly on time. But do bring something to work on and be respectful of other people working.

It is said that we each have a path in our lives, whether we choose to follow it or not. And who better to show it to us than the god of light, truth, and revelation? In this ritual, we will call upon Apollo and the whispers of his oracular serpents to grant us a prophecy on what our destiny holds. We may gain insights on who we are or knowledge on what to avoid. Perhaps this will even set us on the right path. Then again, it may give us the chance to find a new destiny all together.

Join us for a night of Mill Treading and good old fashioned witchcraft! We'll be raising power as a group tonight so make sure you bring any desires your working toward so that they can be empowered by our mill. Also feel free to bring any items or talismans you might also want empowered. These rituals will work best when everyone is putting their all into it so they can get intense. But if you're ready for that then buckle up buckaroo for some powerful witchery!

The blood moon is nigh and spirits rise high! "'Tis time", we cry. "Take to the sky!"
It is the night of the blood moon upon this most portentous of nights. This magic is strong and we shall use it wisely. We will gather to talk about the powers of this moon, call it down into our circle, and cast a spell with its magic. With the blood moon we may reach back into our own blood and call upon our magical ancestors and past lives with which to give us wisdom and power.
