What we’re about
Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

See all- Thirteen Moons of Witchery: The Witch's GoddessMalliway Bros. Spells, Charms, & Potions, Chicago, IL$10.00
Please purchase your ticket here. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis.
In this class, we will explore the origins of the Goddess of the Witches by diving into ancient myths, folklore, and historical accounts that trace her evolution through time. From shadowy figures like Hecate to the unnamed divine feminine found in various folk magical practices, we’ll uncover how the Witch’s Goddess has evolved over the years, and the role that she plays in the Craft. Through discussion and ritual, participants will be shown how to call out to the Goddess and how to cultivate a lasting, working relationship with her.
Additional Details
This meetup is intended for practicing solitary witches who are interested in exploring structured group work. Unlike other rituals offered through Malliway Bros, which cover a broad range of practical magical techniques, these gatherings focus specifically on helping practitioners integrate their personal, solitary practices into a collective setting. They also offer an opportunity for witches to deepen and refine their spiritual path as it relates to the Craft. This gathering, facilitated by Blake, is open to all who identify as witches, regardless of experience level. In working through these classes, participants will ideally have developed or further refined their personal spirituality as it relates to the practice of witchcraft. At the conclusion of our thirteen moons, it is my goal that you will have the skillset to either move forward to form your own circle or continue on to develop your own practice using the methods we’ve learned throughout the year.
Although this group will continue to build upon itself meeting after meeting, you’re welcome to join in at any time throughout the year.

See you there! It's been long awaited but the day is finally here: the day we talk about DRAGONS! These favorites of the magical world, lords among legends, and symbols of wonder and magic alike have lore that expands along the entire world in one form or another. Their powers are as vast in our world as they are in our hearts and we are here to talk about it!
What is the dragon's role in our world and stories? Is it a real beast we can interact with? Where did they go? And what can a witch do with this force? We will talk about this and more so come with an itchy tongue and a curious mind as we discuss the legends of DRAGONS!!!
After our discussion, we'll be working a spell to taste test a sample of their power to call upon these magical creatures for the revelation of the most wonderous treasures that we each may have been seeking. - Fall Equinox RitualMalliway Bros. Spells, Charms, & Potions, Chicago, IL$10.00

See you there!Get your sweaters ready because Fall is here and we're diggin' some graves! When the seasons turn, we like to get together to work our compacts with the spirit world. In these rituals, we'll use our magic to aid the local spirits in what they might need during this time as they aid us in turn. This season's ritual is to lay the earth and its hard-working spirits to rest as a corpse, then in turn we may harvest from our accomplishments over the summer.
