Creative Writing Workshop 📜 Writing Prompts & Sharing Original Work! 📝

Hey Writers! During this evening session, help yourself to a drink or bite of food and be sure to bring a notebook/paper & a pen!

During the opening we will introduce ourselves and collect attendance fees, followed by writing prompts to get our creative juices flowing.

Then we will move on to those who are interested in sharing their original work for feedback. If you are interested in sharing your piece, please email me (chevahnthewriter@gmail.com) your selection at least 48 hours prior so that I may send it along to our group prior to the meeting. That way when it’s time to discuss your work, writers will already be comfortable with the material and ready to freely discuss character, dialogue, plot, tone and more. [up to 10 pages of selection]

Whether poetry, short story, script, memoir, novel, play or children’s book, please feel free to submit any original work in progress that you are willing to receive feedback on.

We are all receptive and kind, don’t be nervous to submit ☺️

A breakdown of fees:
$5 | for those who simply wish to attend, participate in the group writing prompts and engage in discussion and feedback.

$10 | for those who wish to prepare a workshop selection (up to 10 pages double spaced) to receive in depth peer workshop feedback as well as a written blurb of feedback from me.

There will be a maximum of five presenting writers per session so that each writer can receive sufficient feedback during discussion. Registration is secured by emailing me your piece ; it will fill up on a first come, first serve basis.
