Karaoke Night at The Social — East Asheville

Grab the mic (or just cheer) — karaoke night in East Asheville.

The Social on Tunnel Road runs karaoke every Saturday night, and we're claiming a corner of the room for the Third Place crew. Sing, heckle kindly, or just sit back with a burger and a drink and watch strangers become friends over a shared chorus. Zero singing ability required.

The Plan:

• 8:30 PM — Meet at The Social (1078 Tunnel Rd). Look for the Third Place AVL group — we'll grab a cluster of tables before the room fills up.

• 8:30–9:00 PM — Order food and drinks, say hello, and start scheming song choices.

• 9:00 PM — Karaoke kicks off. Put your name in whenever you're ready (or never — no pressure).

• 11:30 PM — Official wrap. Karaoke runs until 1:00 AM, so stay as long as you like.

What to Know:

• Everyone pays for their own food and drinks.

• The Social is a full bar and kitchen (burgers are their thing). Come hungry.

• Non-alcoholic options are available — grab a soda or don't drink at all. No pressure either way.

• It's on Tunnel Road in East Asheville — about 10 minutes from downtown, easy drive or rideshare.

• Singing is completely optional. Some of us are here purely to applaud.

Why This Event:

Karaoke is one of the fastest ways to skip past small talk — nothing bonds a table like collectively deciding someone has to do "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Come solo — most of us do. We'll save you a seat and a spot in the queue.
