Self Employed Holiday Party 2025

It's back, the Thirstdays! Holiday Party, a festavus for the rest of us. I don't know about you, but I've been looking forward to this. The students are just coming back, the Dark Horse Happy Hour goes late, we can sneak into the room at the top of the stairs that are to the left of the entry door, reasonable food, what's not to like?

Since many of our Thirstdays! members are self-employed, work from home/remote offices, enjoy some level of retirement or just don't have a Holiday Party to go to, we started this event for ourselves some 17 plus years ago.

It's a white (pink?) elephant style informal gift exchange that will start about 30 minutes after we arrive from work, after the reindeer are mucked, we've had some rest after all the New Years celebrating.

Our theme is; if I can't watch it, listen to it, eat it, drink it (drink from it?) or wear it, I don't want it. So, bring along a bomber of beer, inexpensive bottle of wine, gift certificate or gift card, CD/DVD, tin of mixed nuts or even a fruitcake, wrap it in a fun way and join us this Thursday. Cheers!
