Join us for an unforgettable 2-day North Wales adventure, combining spectacular mountain scenery, historic landmarks, picturesque villages, dramatic waterfalls and the challenge of climbing Snowdon (1,085 m) — the highest peak in Wales.
For our team, this will be our 67th documented ascent, led by our experienced Mountain Leader, Max.
Travel comfortably from London aboard a modern coach with a professional RoSPA Gold Award-qualified driver, while we take care of the logistics.

## 🌿 Day 1 – Saturday

Our journey to North Wales begins with a visit to Powis Castle and Garden, one of Wales’ most impressive historic estates.
🏰 Powis Castle & Garden
Explore the magnificent medieval castle and its world-famous terraced gardens, renowned for their formal hedges, fountains, exotic plants and spectacular views.
There will also be time for lunch before we continue our journey through the beautiful Welsh countryside.
🏔️ Scenic mountain drive via Bala Lake
Travel through spectacular mountain scenery alongside Bala Lake, one of the largest natural lakes in Wales.
🌲 Betws-y-Coed
Enjoy free time in this charming mountain village surrounded by forests and mountains. Explore its picturesque streets, independent shops and beautiful surroundings.
💦 Swallow Falls
Visit one of Wales’ most famous waterfalls, where powerful cascades rush through the wooded river valley.
🏔️ Scenic drive through the Ogwen Valley
Continue through one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in North Wales, with breathtaking views towards Snowdon and Tryfan.
🏨 Royal Victoria Hotel, Llanberis
Arrive in Llanberis, check in and enjoy some free time to relax and prepare for the following day's mountain adventure.

# 🏔️ Day 2 – Sunday

After breakfast, we head to the foot of Snowdon for the highlight of our journey — conquering the highest mountain in Wales!

## 🥾 Climb Snowdon – 1,085 m

Our ascent begins in the picturesque village of Llanberis, on the shores of Llyn Padarn.
We will take the Llanberis Path, the longest but one of the gentlest and most scenic routes to the summit.
The hike takes approximately:
⬆️ 3 hours uphill
⬇️ 3 hours downhill
As we climb higher, the landscape transforms from green valleys and grazing sheep to rugged rocky mountain slopes.
Along the way, enjoy spectacular views over Llyn Padarn, the Nant Peris valley and the surrounding peaks of Snowdonia.
On a clear day, the views can stretch towards the Irish Sea and the Isle of Anglesey.
As we approach the summit, the terrain becomes increasingly rocky and the feeling of a true mountain adventure begins to build.
🏆 The Summit – 1,085 m
At the top, you will have the incredible feeling of standing on the roof of Wales, more than a kilometre above sea level.
The summit is home to the famous Hafod Eryri mountain café, where you can enjoy a well-earned hot drink and take in the spectacular panorama when conditions allow.

### 🧭 Guided ascent included

The ascent will be led by our experienced Mountain Leader, Max, providing an organised and professionally guided mountain experience for the group.
You don't need to be an experienced mountaineer, but a reasonable level of fitness, suitable clothing and proper walking boots are essential.

### 🌿 Not ready for the summit?

No problem!
You can choose an alternative option and enjoy a relaxed picnic in Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon, with beautiful views towards the summit.
Watch fellow travellers make their way up the mountain while enjoying the spectacular scenery without taking part in the full hike.
🍽️ Lunch in Llanberis
After our mountain adventure, we will have time for lunch in the village before beginning our journey back to London.
🚌 Then sit back, relax and enjoy the journey south, returning with a wonderful sense of achievement, unforgettable memories and plenty of photographs.
