🏔️ Escape London and conquer England’s highest mountain!
Join us for an unforgettable 2-day Lake District adventure, combining spectacular mountain scenery, historic landmarks, a beautiful coastline and the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike (978 m) — England’s highest peak.
Travel comfortably from London aboard a modern coach with a professional RoSPA Gold Award-qualified driver, while we take care of the logistics.
### 🌿 Day 1 – Saturday
Our journey north begins with a visit to Levens Hall, famous for its world-renowned topiary gardens and historic estate. Enjoy some free time for lunch at Levens Kitchen before we continue towards the Lake District.
📍 Wast Water – one of England’s most spectacular lakes, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
🏨 Seacote Hotel, St Bees – check in, dinner and time to relax.
🌊 In the evening, explore St Bees Beach & St Bees Head, one of Cumbria’s most spectacular coastal areas and the western starting point of Wainwright’s famous Coast to Coast Walk.
### 🏔️ Day 2 – Sunday
After breakfast, we head to Wasdale, the starting point for our Scafell Pike adventure.
🥾 Climb Scafell Pike – 978 m
The classic route takes approximately 3 hours uphill and 2 hours downhill. You don't need to be an experienced mountaineer, but a reasonable level of fitness and proper walking boots are essential.
Not ready for the summit? No problem!
🌿 Enjoy a relaxed picnic at the foot of the mountain, take in the incredible views of Wast Water and Scafell Pike, and watch fellow travellers make their way towards the summit.
🍽️ Once everyone is back together, we'll celebrate the achievement with lunch at the legendary Wasdale Head Inn, a historic meeting place for climbers and walkers.
Then it's time to relax on the coach and enjoy the journey back to London.
