Join me for an intermediate hike from the the Pima Canyon parking lot.
We will be hiking in a lollipop shape starting on the National Trail to the Javelina to the Mormon and back down the Pima Wash where we will discover petroglyphs and metates from indingenous peoples. This will be a 5.75 miles loop hike with just over 900 ft in elevation with views of the valley.

Please meet at the covered ramada closest to the drinking fountains at 8:30 am.

Bring 2 liters of water and wear sturdy shoes as the trail is rocky. Poles might be useful for the hill section.

We are happy to have you join our outings. Keep in mind Event Organizers are volunteers, not professional guides. In signing up for any of our events, you are assuming responsibility for your own health and safety. We do our best to walk a comfortable pace and strive to not leave anyone behind. However, you must take responsibility for yourself by researching the hike/destination in advance and determining in advance if your body is up for the challenge; arriving on time; being prepared with adequate clothing for the conditions; wearing proper footwear; and most importantly, knowing and adhering to your own physical limitations.
