Inspiration Point and Lunch at the Thumb Carwash

Be inspired by St. Valentine! Not only to hike, but wash your car over lunch:). Chip will be our thoughtful cohost again

We will meet at Gateway Trailhead and make our way through the beautiful and well maintained trail to Inspiration Point, then return whence we came. Afterward, let's enjoy BBQ at The Thumb wwwthethumb.com. They will wash your car while we dine! (pricey but thorough)

Distance: 5.6 miles
Elevation gain: 1125 feet
Pace: reasonable fitness pace; you'll likely be happy if you are a regular hiker; last time we were about 2 miles/hour
Water: about 1 liter. there's a filling station at the TH, but no water on the trail

We will depart at 10:30, so if you're running late, catch up with us - just follow the signs to Inspiration Point
