Evening fitness hike on the Hau’pal Trail Loop (South Mountain)
Details
Please join us for a challenging evening hike on the 3 mile on the Hau’pal Trail Loop, beginning at the South Mountain 19th Ave/Ma Ha Tuak Trailhead.
The difficult rated Hau’pal Loop has around 1,000 feet of elevation gain, most in the first 1.5 miles. A large portion of the elevation gain comes with summiting the Ma Ha Tuak Range. After the climb, we’ll follow the ridgeline, which offers great views of South Mountain and the surrounding area.
Please be sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp since it may be getting dark when we finish, and at least 1-2 liters of water.
