Spur Cross/Elephant MTN extended loop

Easy drive to keep temps in the 60's & 70's. Great trail system out here & we'll experience several of them along this route. We'll tackle the loop CCW. Hike up the road and turn off on Limestone. This is a lightly used, rocky trail. Next up will be Elephant MTN Trail. We will briefly leave the trail to go up a hill for better views. Spur Cross to close out the loop.

This is in the town of Cave Creek. There is a sign on the main road indicating where to turn. Signage continues to guide you toward TH.
Pavement gives way to a tame dirt road which is car passable. 44000 N Spur Cross Rd 85331 $5 entrance fee. If some would like to carpool from Cave Creek and the 101, just LMK.
