Join us for a overnight backpacking trip to two cliff dwellings in the Sierra Ancha Wilderness, just north of Roosevelt Lake.

Devil’s Chasm: 3 miles round trip.
Leave backpack gear vehicle in vehicle.

The Ruins: Hidden high on a sheer cliff face, the destination features prehistoric stone-and-timber dwellings built between 1280 and 1350 AD.

Online description: “We spent a long time at the ruin in awe of its remains. If you look closely you can still see the mud-hardened handprints left by the Indians on some of the inside walls. Looking out from the ruins, the scenery was spectacular.”

Pueblo Canyon Cliff Dwellings: (Stay overnight): One of the largest, most spectacular and least-visited cliff dwellings in Arizona.
