You may be aware that 22nd September is celebrated worldwide as World Car Free Day. As part of our Livable Cities Project, we have been observing World Car Free Day event over the years in many cities across India to create awareness on reducing the use of motor vehicles and promoting walking and cycling. For the last three years, we had the privilege of conducting an Open street event at Ramanilayam Road, Thrissur to observe World Car-free Day.
This year, we are planning to have a similar event at Ramanilayam Road, Thrissur on 3rd November 2019 with the partnership of Kerala Lalitha Kala Akadamy, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademy, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Thrissur, District Tourism Promotion Council, Thrissur, Sports Council, Thrissur and Kerala State Pollution Control Board etc.
