Join us for a delightful spring day trip to the famous Elmira Maple Syrup Festival, the largest and oldest festival of its kind in the world that celebrates everything maple. Included is a fabulous big lunch at Bonnie Lou’s Café (see review below) run by Mennonites, a visit to the Village of St. Jacobs, and round-trip transportation by coach.

Our group will pay $120, everything included. Please click on "Read more" below and follow the HOW TO PAY instructions below to purchase your ticket(s).

The Day Trip:

  • Our first stop will be the Crafts and Collectibles Show, where you can browse a wide variety of handmade items, including beautiful homemade quilts and other unique crafts.
  • Next, enjoy free time to stroll through the charming downtown of Elmira and soak up the festive atmosphere of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival. The mouthwatering aromas will tempt you to sample classic treats such as German sausages, potato pancakes, apple fritters, and the famous apple dumplings.
  • We’ll then head for a delicious family-style lunch at Bonnie Lou’s Café in the nearby village of Floradale, featuring beef and chicken entrées, the perfect hearty meal to complete your festival experience.
  • After lunch, we’ll head to the picturesque Village of St. Jacobs, where you’ll have time to browse the shops and explore this charming destination at your leisure.
  • On our way home, we’ll make a final stop at Picard’s Peanuts, a local favourite, before relaxing on the coach for our return trip to Toronto.
  • LUNCH REVIEW: Tour member Ann Tee rated Mary Lou's Cafe 5 stars when she had lunch there 4 months ago: "Our tables were ready and salad/coleslaw and dinner rolls were waiting to be devoured. Then the “good stuff” - platters of hot chicken and roast beef, bowls of creamy mashed potatoes, carrots, scrumptious stuffing and hot gravy quickly followed. Desserts - so many choices of delicious pies and “big” portions completed the meal. The servers were amazing - friendly, efficient and accommodating. They each made us all feel welcome."
