Join us for one, two, three or four shows at today's Fringe.

Today's lineup features award-winning storytelling, a critically acclaimed British comedy, a charming blend of romantic comedy, coming-of-age comedy and an original drama inspired by The Odyssey.

We'll begin the day at Soulpepper Theatre in the Distillery District, continue to VideoCabaret, and finish at the historic Arts & Letters Club of Toronto.

Storytelling

• Created and performed by Jon Bennett, one of the world's most acclaimed Fringe storytellers, whose shows have toured internationally and earned numerous awards, rave reviews and devoted audiences across the UK, Australia and North America.
• Bennett is widely regarded as a Fringe must-see, with critics praising his ability to transform outrageous real-life experiences into hilarious, compelling and deeply human storytelling.

• Winner of the Outstanding English Production Award at the 2025 Montreal Fringe, with critics calling it "the type of show that makes Fringe so special" and awarding it five stars.
• A character-driven comedy filled with wit, warmth and heart, making it one of the strongest pedigree comedy selections in this year's festival.

• The creator has been praised as a "gifted storyteller" whose work moves effortlessly between comedy and emotional depth, making this one of the strongest solo-theatre offerings in the festival.
• A compelling mix of romantic comedy, coming-of-age story and mystery, combining audience appeal with the promise of thoughtful, character-driven writing.

Night Journey
Drama-Unconventional Venue

• This original full-length drama follows five strangers in a college night class studying The Odyssey, each searching for a better life while confronting personal challenges and setbacks.
• Features an ensemble cast that includes performers connected with Toronto Metropolitan University's School of Performance, bringing authenticity and emotional depth to this character-driven story.
• Performed at the historic Arts and Letters Club of Toronto where audiences can enjoy one of the city's hidden cultural gems, including its heritage architecture, lounge, and impressive collection of Canadian art after the performance.
