DAY OF THE DEAD

Details

A yearly affair for Mexico, Walking Tours... and the dead. Problem this year is that Dia de Muertos is mid-week... HOWEVER we can see the cemeteries, including a famous mystical tomb, what flowers and followers remain, and altars, decorations and what-not uptown on Revolucion Av.

I am also throwing in elements of the mystical, "secular saints", and "santeria" aspects of Mexican spiritual live, including stopping by the areas shrine to the infamous Santa Muerte and a lot of botanica/sculpture collections devoted to that general weirdness peculiar to Mexico.
We'll also, aside from that, ramble down a uniquely Tijuana street/goat path, and..., above all, have lunch in one of the coolest and most unique restaurants in town... a true hobbit's den serving Chiapas cuisine.
Afterward, we'll stroll the main drag to look at decorations, "altars" to family and business dead, and generally halloweeny decor.
We can stop for coffee, drinks, maybe even another mean in the downtown... all according to you desires.
Two requests: please RSVP because we will have meal reservations and fit into vehicles... and PLEASE, no photos in the Santa Muerte shrine.
